Elizabeth Martin: You Might Find Your Next Career

After graduating from college with a degree in marketing, Elizabeth Martin landed at a hotel that she intended to use as a “passerby” job. She soon fell in love with hotels thanks to the support of her peers and hopes to one day be a general manager. Under her current position as the operations manager at the Hampton Inn, Elizabeth was able to purchase a home in San Diego, where she lives with her boyfriend and pet corgi.

“It’s amazing to see how this industry may always be changing but once you find your niche, you’re set up for life. I’m happy that I’ve found mine. It’s crazy how 5 years ago, what was once supposed to be a passerby job became my passion.”
