Host is the first friendly contact guests have when making reservations or at the restaurant’s door.
Welcoming Guests
Host greets guests, determines the number in their party, seats the guests, and then places the current menu in front of them.

Host develops and maintains positive working relationships with coworkers and supports their team members to reach common goals.

Food Preparation
Line cooks oversee proper food handling and preparation by cutting, chopping, mixing, marinating, etc., depending on the specific food. They cook, grill, fry and sauté.
Maintain Cleanliness and Organization
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen to ensure food safety. Line cooks clean and sanitize before, during and after their shift, and restock food items and necessary supplies.
Communicate with Team Members
Line cooks communicate team members to ensure dishes are prepared correctly, step up to help other line cooks and ensure proper levels of food items in the kitchen.
